Pasquale De Marinis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CILab), University of Bari Aldo Moro. His research focuses on Computer Vision and Deep Learning, with particular attention to learning effectively from limited data and computational resources.
His work includes few-shot learning and semantic segmentation, efficient deep-learning architectures and adaptation strategies, and methods for understanding and explaining the behaviour of modern vision models.
A further research direction concerns the deployment of visual intelligence in real-world and resource-constrained settings, including drone-based and edge AI applications.
