Ciro Castiello

Associate Professor

Ciro Castiello is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bari Aldo Moro. His research focuses on fuzzy systems, soft computing and inductive learning, with particular attention to the construction of models whose behaviour can be interpreted and critically assessed.

A central theme of his research is the relationship between predictive capability and interpretability, connecting traditional fuzzy modelling with contemporary Explainable Artificial Intelligence.

He has participated in several research projects and is active in national and international scientific communities in fuzzy systems, soft computing and Computational Intelligence.
