Computational Intelligence Laboratory

CILab conducts fundamental and applied research in Computational Intelligence, combining computer vision, deep learning, fuzzy modelling and explainable AI with real-world applications.

CILab is a research laboratory of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, coordinated by Prof. Giovanna Castellano.

Our work spans intelligent data analysis and visual understanding, with particular attention to efficient and explainable methods that can move beyond benchmarks and operate in complex application domains.
